3 month pics
We took the girls to get their 3 month pictures taken on Sunday. It was quite a process. They did great and we got some really good pictures. I can't wait to pick them up. We were going to my parent's house for dinner that night and my mom insisted on us keeping Kennedy and Ava's dresses on so she could see them. Here are a few pictures that she took. They looked pretty cute if I do say so myself!

Sugar Bowl...not so sweet!!!
So we went to New Orleans with the girls for the Sugar Bowl. They did great on the drive down and loved cruising around town in the stroller. There were so many new things to look at and listen too. They were absolute angels! Then came the game. Are you ready for this? So we had the girls in their carriers and they were doing great. By the time we got to our seats, both girls were asleep. Once the noise started, Kennedy got a little fussy. She had her headphones on that Jon bought them. They are made just for babies in stadiums. Anyway, she was trying to fall asleep and couldn't because of the noise. This pissed her off. So I walked down to where the concession stands were to try to make her happy. BAD idea! A woman ran right into me and her entire beer was spilled directly on Kennedy's head! She cried harder than I had ever heard her cry and simply couldn't get happy after that. I can't say I blame her...her clothes were wet and she was trying to spit the beer out that had gone into her mouth. SO needless to say, we left the game and watched the entire thing from our hotel room. Yes, we drove 12 hours with three month onld twins just so we could watch a football game on tv. It wasn't a great game anyway so it really didn't matter. Poor Kennedy. Ava was as happy as can be and was sleeping right through all of the noise. Go figure! Here are a few smiling pics BEFORE the beer incident! The signs on the girls' carriers say "My bear kitten just pooped a Florida Gator in my diaper." and "My bear kitten just ate a 'Tebone'" Gotta love it! We walked into the stadium and it was like poparazzi...so many people wanted pics of the girls and their signs!
